Senna hebecarpa

A shrubby native perennial that produces brownish-yellow, pea-like flowers in midsummer.  Plants grow to a height of 3'-6' with a spread of 2'-3' and prefer full sun exposure in moist, well-drained soil.  When the blooms are spent, plants produce seed pods that turn brown and remain on the plant into the fall.  Pollinator friendly.
