Papaver orientale 'Beauty of Livermere' (Oriental Poppy)

Late spring to early summer blooming perennial that features brilliant red paper-like flowers.  Clump-forming plants will produce mounds of thistle-like foliage up to 12" tall that dies back once the blooms fade.  Prefers full sun and rich, well-drained soil.  Readily self-seeds.  Pollinator friendly.
