Mint - Mentha spicata (Spearmint)

A mint similar in use, appearance, growth, and maintenance requirements to peppermint (Mentha x piperita), but with spear-tipped leaves, pink to white flowers, and a distinctive spearmint fragrance. It is an ingredient in several mixed drinks, including the mojito and mint julep. Spearmint is also used to flavor sweet iced tea, a summer tradition in the Southern United States.
