Liatris ligulistylis (Meadow Blazing Star)

This beautiful late summer bloomer is a confirmed Monarch butterfly magnet. Pom-pom shaped clusters of rosy purple flowers open all at once on terminal spikes. This lovely perennial will reach heights of 3-5 feet. It enjoys full sun, fertile and well-draining soils.
