Laurus nobilis (bay laurel)


A broadleaf evergreen with showy yellow-green flowers in spring. Cultivated as a tree or shrub, the fragrant leaves are commonly used as a culinary herb. Bay makes an excellent houseplant preferring moderately moist soil and bright light. Size and shape can be easily controlled by pruning. 10-30'H x 5-20'W. Zone 8-10.
