Ficus carica 'Chicago Hardy'

As it's name would lend, the 'Chicago Hardy' is widely considered one of the hardiest fig varieties. Known for its attractive foliage and edible fruit that ripens in late summer to early fall, this shrub is great for most every garden.

'Chicago Hardy' does best in a container in well-draining soil and full sun to part shade. You can expect growth of 10-15ft tall and 9-12ft wide.

Note that it is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
