Convallaria majalis (Lily of the Valley)

Delicate, fragrant, bell-shaped flowers appear in early spring.  Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions but prefers rich, well-drained soil.  Prefers part to full shade where it can quickly naturalize.  Plants can reach a height of .5 feet to 1 foot with a spread of .75 feet to 1 foot.  Excellent cut flower.
