We invite you to the greenhouses and beer garden this coming Tuesday, May 1st, for the May Day Festival at Michler’s. Kentucky Native Café will be steeping Sweet Woodruff in wine for the traditional May Wine Bowl and serving up other seasonal spring treats.

In the greenhouses you can catch a lecture, shop for garden plants, and enjoy live music.

Here is the schedule:

4PM-10PM Café area will be open serving May Wine, Spring Food Specials, & Gelato
4PM Adam Baker an Entomologist studying Monarch Butterflies will talk about the impact you can make for butterflies and pollinators with your garden.
5PM John Michler will discuss plant selection and designing a Pollinator Garden.
5-7PM Extended Plant shopping—Michler’s will be staying open until 7pm—as a bonus, any pollinator plant mentioned by either speaker will be 25% off.

The Discordions, Accordion Quartet 6:30-7PM in the café
The Swells Brass Band from 7-9PM in the café
