Hyssop - Hyssopus officinalis

A low, hedge-like perennial herb with showy, blue-purple flowers and fragrant, dark green leaves. Leaves and young shoot tips are edible and are often used to flavor soups, stews, and salads. Oils are sometimes used in potpourris and perfumes. Best grown in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil, and grows 1-2 feet tall and 1-1.5 feet wide. Attracts pollinators and resists both deer and drought.
