Origanum rotundifolium 'Kent Beauty' (kent beauty oregano)

An ornamental oregano grown primarily for its attractive flowers and foliage. This bushy, trailing plant has unique, drooping, pink-bracted, hop-like flowers which bloom from summer to fall. Somewhat fragrant but not commonly used in cooking. Easily grown in dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. The superior soil drainage is key. This plant tolerates heat, drought, and deer; protection from winter wind is recommended. Great for garden borders, window boxes, hanging baskets, and containers; the bracted-flowers make lovely additions to dried flower arrangements. .5-.75'H x .7-1'W. USDA Zones 6-9.
