Fragaria 'Surecrop' (surecrop strawberry)
A strawberry that produces one crop per year early in the season (typically June). Sensitive to the length of day, sends out runners in spring as day length increases. Showy, five-petaled, white flowers with yellow centers appear on the plants in spring. Large berries with red flesh throughout mature in late spring to early summer. June-bearing berries are normally larger than the berries produced by ever-bearing or day-neutral plants. Grow in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers organically rich, sandy loams. Deer tolerant. .5-.75'H x 1-1.5'W. USDA Zones 4-8.
Please note: Our online herb selection is NOT a live inventory--sizes and prices change (i.e. plants grow). We also may be sold out. Please visit or call for current availability. This item is not suitable to order as a gift. For our floral customers we suggest sending a kitchen herb garden.
